WEIGHT HOOK OR NIB M5 THREADED ADAPTER
The threaded weight adapter allows the use of high-quality female solid brass hooks and nibs with weight core inserts that are internally threaded on both ends.
The weight adapter is a M5 metric thread commonly used on threaded weight core inserts.
The female hook or nib must be a female M5 metric thread. Many female hooks and nibs are M4 setup for weight center rods, and this M5 adapter thread is too large.
If you have a M4 hook or nib this weight adapter can be re-tooled by changing half the threads to M4 and leaving half at M5 for the weight core insert threads.
