DECORATIVE BRASS FINISHED WEIGHT SHELL 1 5/8" DIA. X 9 1/4"L
These are decorative brass finished aluminum weight shells and do not support weight core inserts. They are intended to simply hang from chains with hooks in a battery driven clock. The decorative weight shell is 1 5/8" diameter x 9 1/4"L. The top of the shell has lightly engraved horizontal rings that go down 2" to the three engraved rings and below the rings the shell is smoothly polished.
Included is one shell, two end caps, top ring, and one round bottom nib. No weight core inserts included.
These decorative weight shells were used in a number of the Howard Miller grandfather battery floor clocks such as the 611-138 Princeton.
Also available are the decorative chains with hooks, the Rhythm battery movements that were used, the pendulum driver, and the pendulum.
