CHIME ROD SET 10X4 STRAIGHT AMER. BEAUT. FOR HERMLE 1561-853 14 RODS
14 rod chime set in a 10 x 4 straight configuration. These large high-quality chime block sets were used for the Hermle 1561-853 movements which have 14 hammers. The two chime melodies played are Westminster or America the Beautiful ("America, America, God shed his grace on thee."). These chime blocks were made for Howard Miller and the Ridgeway 73412 clocks.
Press in blued steel rods on a wide base. Ten side the longest rod is 22 3/8" L. Four side the longest rod is 26 5/8" L. Rods measured from base back to rod tip.
Block is a case back mount and the longest rods are at the front of the case.
Chime block height: 3 7/8"H.
Base: 4 1/2"W x 4 1/16"L. The shaped base is plain with no engraving.
Four mounting holes for mounting to back of case. Back to front hole spacing 74mm and across front hole spacing 78mm.
Made in Germany by Hermle for Ridgeway and base bottom marked E018-00970.
