KIENINGER SKS12 116CM WESTM. ANSO CHAIN MOVEMENT - HOWARD MILLER FACTORY ORIGINAL
Kieninger SKS12 chain-driven three weight movement geared for 116 cm pendulum. This is a Howard Miller 354629 factory original new Kieninger movement. Movements are lubricated prior to shipment and ready for installation.
The movement right selector supports 1/4 Westminster chime (5 side hammers) chime shutoff and ANSO. The night shut off is the ANSO (Auto Night Shutoff) feature. When the ANSO night shut off is activated the chimes or strike are automatically turned off between 10:00 p.m. and 7:15 a.m.
The movement supports a recommended lyre or wood stick style pendulum. The lyre pendulum bob should be 270mm (10 1/2"), 220mm (8 1/2"), or 165mm (6 1/2") diameter and if a wood stick pendulum the bob should be 165mm (6 1/2") or 140mm (5 1/2") diameter. Also supported is a compensation pendulum with a 200mm bob that has a special regulation screw on top.
The movement plate measures 120 mm height × 124 mm width × 1.7 mm thick. Hand shaft length: 47.80mm L.
There were two sizes of older SKS movement plates:

Smaller plate: 115 mm × 124 mm

Larger plate: 120 mm × 124 mm
If you're replacing the older, smaller 115 mm SKS movement with the newer, larger 120 mm plate, the dial winding arbor holes can be adapted to fit, but some modification work will be required.
Important: Before modifying the plate, compare the winding arbor hole positions and the mounting points between the old and replacement movements to ensure proper alignment.
The movement includes the suspension spring, chains, and hand nut on front hand shaft. The movement does not include the hands, pendulum leader, pendulum, or the seat board/mounting hardware.
This movement was used by Howard Miller, Sligh, and Emperor clock companies. A few of the Howard Miller clock models that used this movement are 610-519 Ashley, 610-520 Chateau, 610-892 Joseph, 610-895 Jonathan, 610-572 Princeton, 610-569 Yorkshire, and 660-170.

Recommend using the German made Etsyntha 859 oil for lubrication.

- The failure must be due to a manufacturing defect.
- You must return the movement without modifications or damage.
