REVERE MOVEMENT CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY FOR GENERAL ELECTRIC CO.
Establishing clock provenance can be an especially interesting and rewarding endeavor. Offered is an official Herschede-Revere Movement Certificate of Authenticity from the Herschede Hall Clock Company to assist in your General Electric movement provenance. The official Herschede-Revere Movement Serial Number Records that cover the General Electric purchases are from 1927 to 1932.
Also recorded were the Herschede mechanical movements from 1911 to 1925 and the Herschede electric tubular and mantel clock movements from 1927 to 1932. If you have a Herschede Movement within these years, please order your Certificate of Authenticity with HER-CERT part number. If you have a Herschede-Colonial mechanical movement between 1915 to 1925, refer to HER-CERT-COLONIAL part number. If you have a Revere Clock Co. electric clock movement between 1927 to 1932, refer to HER-CERT-REVERE part number.
The Certificate of Authenticity would document the Herschede-Revere recorded manufacturing date for the movement serial number, dial type, when the movement was shipped from the factory to General Electric. If the movement serial number records do not have your serial number or no data is recorded there will be no charge.
Please provide the required information for your Certificate of Authenticity: Movement Serial Number, General Electric Clock Case Pattern/Model, Case Serial Numbers, Pendulum Type, and any additional information such as unique signage on the dial, gift plaques on the case, any additional signage and where the signage data is located, etc. The Herschede-Revere Certificate of Authenticity is an official document stating the facts from Herschede-Revere Movement Records; however, it is not a clock appraisal nor do we offer appraisals. The Certificates of Authenticity are accompanied by a cover letter that will provide any additional information available from Herschede research, the cover letter is addressed to the buyer, so please provide to whom you want the letter greeting addressed and the address.
The Certificates of Authenticity are 8" x 10" for framing and on archival luxury cream colored cardstock with a gold Herschede embossed emblem. Due to the hands-on nature of these Certificates the availability is a minimum of one week plus shipping time.
