WEIGHT CORE INSERT 3000 GRAMS (6.6 LB.) FITS 60MM (2 3/8") OR 50MM (1.968") SHELLS
Weight core insert 3000 grams (6 lb. 9.3 ounces) cast iron. Each weight core insert half is 1500 grams for a total of 3000 grams. Requires a rod with female hook and nib, not included.
Core size: 48mm (1.90") diameter x 244mm (9 9/16") L.
Weight core used in Kieninger weight shell size 60 x 245mm or 50 x 252mm. Use WCI-3000 in the Hermle/Kieninger 60 x 245mm weight shell SKU WSH-1161 or Kieninger 50 x 250mm weight shell SKU WSH-5025 polished brass.
Weight core use details:
- Kieninger KSU/RSU/MSU cable movement with pendulum or Lyre pendulum below 165mm (6.5") in diameter on time and hour strike sides.
- Kieninger KSU/RSU/MSU cable movement with second hand and/or Lyre pendulum above 165mm (6.5") in diameter on the time side.
- Kieninger KKU/MKU/RU chain triple chime movement on the time and strike sides.
- Kieninger KK/MK chain 4/4 westminster movement on the time and strike sides.
- Kieninger RK chain westminster movement on the time, strike, and chime sides.
- Kieninger RU chain 11 rod gong movement on the time, strike, and chime sides.

Weight core inserts are heavy and require precise measurements to confirm that these will fit the weight shells. The expense of shipping is high and if a return is needed can become quite expensive.
