WEIGHT CORE INSERT 2400 GRAMS (5.4 LB.) FITS 60MM (2 3/8") SHELLS
Formed cast weight core insert 2400 grams (5.4 lb.). Internally threaded on both ends (~19mm deep) for 5mm hook and nib, not included. Weight core is not drilled through and therefore does not require a center rod. Iron weight core may be drilled straight through by a machinist in minutes if desired.
Core size: 57mm (2 1/4") diameter x 238mm (9 7/16") L.
Weight core used in Hermle weight shells sizes 60 x 245mm (461 and 1161) movements. Hermle 461 weight shell SKU: WSH-461 or 1161 weight shell SKU: WSH-1161.
Weight core use details:
- Hermle 461-050 and -053 chain movements on time and hour strike sides.
- Hermle 1161-050 and -053 chain movement on time and hour strike sides.
Made in Germany.
Weight core inserts are heavy and require precise measurements to confirm that these will fit the weight shells. The expense of shipping is high and if a return is needed can become quite expensive.
