RHYTHM QUAD CHIMING QUARTZ MOVEMENT - 12.2MM PUSH ON
Nice quality Rhythm quartz movement that plays Westminster, 4x4 Westminster, 4x4 Ave Maria, or Bim-Bam. 4x4 strike modes chime quarterly and on the hour with the sound of a tubular bell grandfather clock movement. Melodies without the 4x4 will not chime on the quarter hour.
Monitor button to demonstrate the hourly strike. Volume control, night silence between 11:00pm and 5:45am, and 24 hour "on" or "off" selector. 3" (76mm) round speaker with 34" electrical cord. Includes hardware.
Push on hand shaft length is 12.2mm (.48"). The threaded portion of the hand shaft is 4mm (.16")L. There is a plastic inner post for the second hand. Push on hand shaft means the minute and the hour hands should both have round holes. Push on hands are not included. Hand hole size requirements for shaft: 5.02mm (.197") hour hand hole diameter and 3.13mm (.123") minute hand hole diameter.
The movement supports hands up to a 7" hand length. The pendulums should not be any heavier than 4 ounces.
Requires two C batteries - not included. The MPR-4x4C movement does not support a pendulum.

Recommend using alkaline batteries. If the clock begins to lose time or chime weakens, this is a sign of weak or exhausted batteries.
Used by many clock companies such as Howard Miller. Howard Miller used this battery movement and a pendulum drive unit in the Princeton, Avalon, and Whitelock grandfather clock models as well as many other models.
