KIENINGER GRANDFATHER 9 TUBULAR BELL KITS
This grandfather clock kit has a top-of-the-line Kieninger cable driven 9 tubular bell triple chime movement. The Kieninger movement plays Westminster, Whittington, or St. Michaels chimes.
Movement includes the Automatic Night shut off (ANSO) feature (chimes stopped from 10:00pm - 7:15am). Movement has an automatic beat adjustment and cable winding stops, and cable movements with maintaining power, and separate chime shutoff for hour and melody with weight drop. One second beat pendulum. 6 1/4" x 9" plates are 2.8mm thick, 32 bronze bushings at the pivots, 12 jewels/genuine rubies at the most vital points. Movement comes complete with hands, second hand, pendulum leader, pulleys, and genuine Kieninger crank. Select the pendulum bob size of 8 1/2" (220mm) or 10 1/2" (270mm) diameter.
Elegant, polished brass moving moon dial with silver chapter ring, gold Arabic numerals, and silver secondhand time ring. Has antiqued, raised middle and corner ornaments. Right selector: Whit., St. Mich., Westm, and Silent. Left selector: Strike, Night Off, and Silent. Size: 16 7/16" X 11 13/16". Labeled "Howard Miller" and "Ambassador Collection".
Polished complete weight sets (weight shell, hook/nib, and weight core). Weight requirements are driven by the lyre pendulum and are 11, 9.9, and 15 pounds.
The elegant 9 tubular brass bells mount on the movement tube rack using the included Kieninger tube wire clips.
Kieninger 116cm polished pendulum is genuine German-made. The KTU-06-220 has an 8 1/2" (220mm) plain polished bob and the KTU-06-270 has a 10 1/2" (270mm) elegant, embossed bob.
Case must be at least 9 1/2" deep and 16 1/2" wide to accommodate this key wound cable driven movement. Movement depth including hand shaft length (2 3/8") must be at least 9 1/2"D. Comes with M4x31 and washer pairs for mounting the movement to a seat board. Seat board is not included.
