JAUCH MOVEMENT 85 WITH 11 JEWEL ESCAPEMENT
This is a rare find of a Jauch movement with an 11-jewel platform escapement that is New Old Stock (NOS). The movement is a Jauch triple chime (Silent, Westm, St. Mich., and Whitt.). The 11-jewel platform escapement has the original plastic cover. The movement is marked "Jauch", "85", and "11 Jewel". The clock movement has been recently professionally lubricated. Comes with original Jauch key.
11-Jewel Platform Escapement: 36 x 21mm, 15 teeth escape wheel, and 8 leaf pinion.
Polished movement plates: 6 3/4" W x 6 3/4" H x 3 3/4" D
Platform escapement mounting hole (center to center) 15.6mm x 29mm.
Movement arbor spacing: hand arbor to lower arbor 37mm, winding arbor to winding arbor 85mm
This movement was used in mantel and grandfather clocks.
