    Product Description

    HERMLE 1451-850S 66CM CLOCK KIT WITH SIGNED ROMAN DIAL

    This is a rare find of a Hermle 1451-850S 66cm clock kit that is New Old Stock (NOS).  The movement has Westminster and Ave Maria Portugal chimes and was purchased directly from Hermle in 2002.  Requires a chime rod set that is a 7 x 4 configuration.  The clock movement has been recently professionally lubricated.

    These movements were often used in regulator and wall clocks.

    The kit includes:

    • Original Hermle instructions.
    • Hermle HM1451-850 Chimes (Westm. and Ave Maria Portugal) spring and weight driven movement.  The movement has a second hand and the time train (middle train) has a double pulley for two 40 x 264mm weights that should have 3 pounds each.  The weight shells and cores are not included.  Movement made in Germany.
    • Finest quality roman numeral white dial with polished brass bezel rim.   Bezel O.D. 205mm (8 1/16").  Outside edge of time track: 7 3/8" diameter.  The rare dial is signed "Hermle and Sohn".  Made in Germany.
    • Moon hands.
    • Includes 4 1/4" side chime selector rod.
    • The movement has two extra long mounting back posts at 105mm long.  The two back posts are easily removed as they thread onto the movement.
    • Original Hermle nickel clock key.

    The kit does not include any case wood or case hardware or or chime block or weights.
