KIENINGER WESTMINSTER CHIME MOVEMENT SKS-15 - 116CM PENDULUM
Kieninger SKS 15 chain-driven three weight movement geared for 116 cm pendulum.
The movement right selector supports 1/4 Westminster chime (5 side hammers) chime shutoff and ANSO. The night shut off is the ANSO (Auto Night Shutoff) feature. When the ANSO night shut off is activated the chimes or strike are automatically turned off between 10:00 p.m. and 7:15 a.m.
The movement supports a recommended lyre or wood stick style pendulum. The lyre pendulum bob should be 270mm (10 1/2"), 220mm (8 1/2"), or 165mm (6 1/2") diameter and if a wood stick pendulum the bob should be 165mm (6 1/2") or 140mm (5 1/2") diameter. Also supported is a compensation pendulum with a 200mm bob that has a special regulation screw on top.
Movement plate size: 120mm W x 124mm H x 1.7mm Thickness.
Hand shaft length: 36mm L.
BPH (Beats per Hour): 3600. Beats per hour refers to the number of times a balance wheel rotates within a 60-minute span. The rate is calculated from the length of the pendulum and the total gear ratio of the time train. The movement includes the suspension spring, chains, and hand nut on front hand shaft. The movement does not include the hands, pendulum leader, pulleys, pendulum, or the seat board/mounting hardware.

Recommend using the German made Etsyntha 859 oil for lubrication.

The SKS 15 new movement comes with a 5-year prorated replacement warranty against failure from manufacturing defects. If requested, we will try to repair the unit up to three years. The returned movement must be received without markings, modifications, or damage. The warranty is limited to the replacement of the movement or part.
