KIENINGER TRIPLE CHIME MOVEMENT MSU 06 - 100CM PENDULUM
Kieninger MSU-06 cable-driven three weight movement geared for 100 cm pendulum. This movement model was later replaced by the KSU-79 93cm model, size and function are the same.
The movement right selector supports triple-chimes (12 rear hammers in an 8x4 configuration): Westminster, St. Michael, and Whittington. The left selector supports night off, silent, and strike. The night shut off is the ANSO (Auto Night Shutoff) feature. When the ANSO night shut off is activated the chimes or strike are automatically turned off between 10:00 p.m. and 7:15 a.m.
The movement has a maintaining power feature meaning that while winding there is no time lost.
The movement supports a recommended lyre or wood stick style pendulum. The lyre pendulum bob should be 270mm (10 1/2"), 220mm (8 1/2"), or 165mm (6 1/2") diameter and if a wood stick pendulum the bob should be 165mm (6 1/2") or 140mm (5 1/2") or 115 (4 1/2") diameter.
Movement plate size: 200mm W x 142mm H.
Hand shaft length: 47.5mm L.
BPH (Beats per Hour): 3800. Beats per hour refers to the number of times a balance wheel rotates within a 60-minute span. The rate is calculated from the length of the pendulum and the total gear ratio of the time train. The movement includes the suspension spring, three cables, and hand nut on front hand shaft. The movement does not include the hands, pendulum leader, pulleys, winding crank, pendulum, or the seat board/mounting hardware.

Kieninger movement is NOS (New Old Stock) and out of manufacturer warranty. The movement has been recently inspected and lubricated by a professional.
This movement was used by many clock manufacturers such as Sligh and Howard Miller.
Recommend using the German made Etsyntha 859 oil for lubrication.
