KIENINGER RWS-23 WESTMINSTER CHIME MOVEMENT - 80CM PENDULUM
Kieninger RWS-23 is a cable driven two-spring wind movement (two weights) with an 80cm pendulum. 1/4 cable/key wind movement with Westminster chime on eight rods with 4x4 rear hammers. Four or six bronze bushings (2nd wheel), removable spring barrels, and chime shut-off.
Plate size: 131 x 131 x 2.0mm. Hand shaft length 32mm.
The movement supports a recommended lyre or grid or wood stick or metal rod style pendulum. The lyre pendulum bob should be 165mm (6 1/2"), the grid pendulum bob should be 140mm (5 1/2") diameter, and if a wood stick pendulum the bob should be 140mm (5 1/2") or 115mm (4 1/2") or 100mm (4"). Also supported is a metal rod pendulum with a bob at 80mm (3.14").
NOTE: the pictures show the RWS-25 with ANSO, this movement does not have the ANSO (Auto Night Shut-off) feature.
Kieninger movements are new and all have been tested prior to shipment.
This movement was used by many clock manufacturers such as Sligh and Howard Miller.
Recommend using the German made Etsyntha 859 oil for lubrication.

The RWS-23 new movement comes with a 5-year prorated replacement warranty against failure from manufacturing defects. If requested, we will try to repair the unit up to three years. The returned movement must be received without markings, modifications, or damage. The warranty is limited to the replacement of the movement or part.
