KIENINGER APL01 WESTMINSTER CHIME MOVEMENT - 35CM PENDULUM
Kieninger APL01 is a three-spring wind movement with a 35cm pendulum often used in wall regulator style clocks. Plays 1/4 Westminster chime on 5-rod gong with five bottom hammers. Six bronze bushings (2nd wheel), removable spring barrels, snap-back mounting system supports rear or front movement mounting, and chime shut-off. The movement has a run time of 7 days. Similar to the AEL series that has an escapement with no pendulum.
Plate size: 100 x 104 x 1.7mm. Hand shaft length 32mm. Includes the pendulum leader and hand nut. Hands and chime block set are not included.
The movement right selector supports Westminster on 5 bottom hammers or silent. The night shut off is the ANSO (Auto Night Shutoff) feature. When the ANSO night shut off is activated the chimes or strike are automatically turned off between 10:00 p.m. and 7:15 a.m.
The movement supports a recommended wood stick or metal rod style pendulum. For the wood stick pendulum, the bob should be 80mm (3.14") diameter. For the metal rod pendulum, the bob should be 80mm (3.14") or 70mm (2 3/4") or 48mm (1.88") diameter.
Kieninger movements are new and all have been tested prior to shipment.
This movement was used by many clock manufacturers such as Kieninger and Howard Miller.
Recommend using the German made Etsyntha 859 oil for lubrication.

The APL01 new movement comes with a 5-year prorated replacement warranty against failure from manufacturing defects. If requested, we will try to repair the unit up to three years. The returned movement must be received without markings, modifications, or damage. The warranty is limited to the replacement of the movement or part.
