KIENINGER AEL03 WESTMINSTER CHIME MOVEMENT - ESCAPEMENT
Kieninger AEL 03 is a three-spring wind movement with 5 jewel Swiss balance escapement with no pendulum. Plays 1/4 Westminster chime on 5-rod gong with five bottom hammers. Six bronze bushings (2nd wheel), removable spring barrels, snap-back mounting system supports rear or front movement mounting, and chime shut-off.
Plate size: 100 x 100 x 1.7mm. Hand shaft length 35.8mm.
This is a New Old Stock movement and out of warranty.
This movement was used by many clock manufacturers such as Sligh and Howard Miller.
Recommend using the German made Etsyntha 859 oil for lubrication.
Made in Germany.
