BAROMETER PLASTIC COVER TAYLOR
3 1/16" round barometer plastic cover. Cover measured O.D.
Plastic cover has "Falling" and "Rising" marked at center and the cover turns on barometer.
Made by Taylor for 6404 and 6501 models.
The Taylor barometer cover is NOS (New Old Stock) from a Seattle firm and is nice quality.
The Taylor thermometers company began in 1851 and in 1900 they bought Short & Mason an English maker of high quality weather instruments. Over the decades Taylor Instruments Corp. was purchased by companies such as Sybron Corp., Combustion Engineering, and ABB.
Note: the plastic edge is ribbed for ease of turning.
