CHIME ROD SET V-SHAPED 16 ROD KIENINGER KSU TRIPLE CHIME
Very rare chime block set. V-shaped 16 rod chime set in a 12 x 4 configuration. These large high quality chime block sets were used by Kieninger and Jauch for triple chime movements.
Triple Chimes: Westminster, Bird Catcher, and Ode to Joy. The Bird Catcher chime is very rare and was adapted from Mozart's opera 'The Magic Flute'. Most companies chose the Westminster/Ava Maria/Ode to Joy chime block model.
Screw-in blued steel rods on a large base. Twelve side the longest rod is 21" L and shortest 15" L. Four side the longest rod is 21" L and shortest 16 1/4" L. Rods measured from base back to rod tip.
Chime block step in height: 5"H.
Base: 4 1/2"W x 2"L.
Four mounting holes for mounting to back of case. Some rust on the chime block.
Made in Germany.
