CHIME ROD SET V-SHAPED 12 ROD JAUCH PL-96 OR PL-100 TRIPLE CHIME
V-shaped 12 rod chime set in a 8 x 4 configuration. These large high quality chime block sets were used by Jauch for the PL-96 or PL-100 triple chime movement. The triple chimes: Westminster, St. Michael, and Whittington. The hour strike comprises a reverse chord of 4 rods.
Screw-in blued steel rods on a large base. Eight side the longest rod is 22 1/4" L and shortest 15 5/8" L. Four side the longest rod is 26 1/4" L and shortest 23 3/8" L. Rods measured from base back to rod tip.
Chime block step in height: 4 1/8"H on tall side and 2 1/2"H on short side.
Base: 4 1/4"W x 3 7/8"L.
Four mounting holes for mounting to back of case and the top of block is marked "U34". Chime block is new old stock and has some discoloration due to its age.
Made in Germany.
