WATCH REPAIR DELUXE KIT
A watchmaker repair kit made by Anchor with 27 useful tools for changing batteries to minor repairs. The tools are stored in a zipper notebook style package with elastic bands to secure tools.
The kit contains:
- Jaxa case opener Style 3 wrench - useful for removing back of screw type watches of any type.
- Case opener knife (wood handle) - useful for snap back watches.
- Pin pusher with wood handle - for removing links from bands.
- Screwdrivers (1.00mm, 1.40mm, 2.00mm) - helps remove clasps screw which holds battery for replacement.
- Plastic tweezer - for use in handling batteries.
- Brass tweezer - for removal of watch batteries and are antistatic to avoid short circuit.
- Stainless steel tweezers - for handling of small parts.
- Flat nose pliers - useful for pressing, bending clips and clasps.
- Buff stick - used to clean a steel watch case or gold plated case to give luster after normal wear and tear.
- Ball pein 1 oz. hammer - may be used with pin punch to remove stubborn pin.
- Polishing cloth - silicon cloth to clean the watch after replacement of battery.
- Spring bars assortment (100 pieces) - when a watch comes for repair the spring bars may need to be replaced.
- Presto hands remover - To remove dial, the hands have to be extracted from the face of the dial. Hands remover is put on the face of the dial and side pressed to remove the three hands.
- Pin punches (.80mm and 1.00mm) with tips - tool used to remove stubborn links.
- Pin hand vise - to hold very tiny pins where the need is to shorten or polish the item.
- Hand presser - has two holes useful for pressing the hands in place without damage.
- Fiberglass scratch brush - helps remove carbon deposits on points where battery is placed.
- Spring bar tool - This has a pointed end and U type pin which facilitates removing of spring bar from watches.
- Eye loupe - useful to check small parts and also magnify screws from clasps.
- Plastic bracelet holder with slots - used to hold bracelet/straps and use with pin pushers to remove the bracelet pins.
- Silicone grease - every watch opened needs to be applied with silicon grease before back is pressed into place. The grease ensures water proofing of the watch.
- Casing cushion - to be used for opening the back of the watch (face down) to ensure that the glass or dial is not scratched.
